Important information and FAQs to help you get to and enjoy Warlingham Fireworks 2018

Timings:

Gates open at 5pm. The show is at 7.45. We would of course ask that you do try and arrive in good time to allow you to relax and enjoy the evening. The event closes at 9pm.

Parking and Travel:

Sorry there is NO on site parking. The venue car park is used by the Fairground. Where possible its highly recommended to arrive by the 403 bus. The nearest stop is Verdayne Gardens which is 30 seconds from the entrance to the venue. Anyone who is local and knows what the roads are like on a Football Sunday will understand that its best to arrive early!

Disabled access:

We have organised very limited disabled parking locally for blue badge holders only. We MUST be made aware of this well before you arrive to ensure we have reserved you a space. It however is not on site and is about 100m walk away. Please contact us for more information. It's worth noting too that the venue is a field, if it has been raining it can make wheel chair access rather hard work. There are hard standing areas, but there is no specific reserved space, however we will of course try to accommodate people with disabilities as best as we can.

Tickets and event entrance:

Please be aware that unless you either have a traders pass, or valid ticket you will be refused entry unless paying. Entry to the venue is by advance internet ticket at £5 (please print and bring with you) OR cash on the door at a cost of £7.50 adult or £5 child. Children Under the age of 4 are free. Be aware that like all digital ticketing systems, the tickets are unique, and can only be scanned once. If you wish to leave the venue and return, we will stamp your hand. You will need to show the stamp to regain access. If somehow the stamp washes of (they don't come off that easily!) we will have no way of verifying this and unfortunately the gate is within its rights to refuse entry.

Security:

This year for the first time we will have experienced and trained male and female SIA security. This is for the safety of you and that of our other guests. They will be present throughout the event and on the door. Please be aware they may be carrying out random door searches to prevent prohibited items being brought onto site (any kind of pyrotechnics/alcohol/laser pens/sharp objects or other hazardous items). Please be aware, if you are found on site with prohibited items, we have a zero tolerance policy. You will be asked to leave and if serious enough the police may be called.

Lost Children

If you have lost a child, please inform a member of security or event marshal immediately. The Fluffy Fun stand is the lost persons point. Trained security will wait with the child until they are reunited, and all lost child incidents are logged. Safety is are primary concern of all our visitors!

Bad Weather

The UK has notoriously bad weather! But the show must go on! Don't be afraid if its a little wet. We have never cancelled an event yet!
